Origin Buddha:  Yen Tu mountain !

18/2/2013. Start Yen Tu Festival !

     Offen, Start of Yen Tu Fesstival in day 10/1 yearly of lunar calendar ( 19/2/2013 ). But, this year a day faster ( 18/2/2013 is started ). However, I appear in the foot of Mount in morning 19/2 - first of life.

     Yen Tu mountain ( Núi Yên Tử ) the biggest center of Vietnam Buddha, started of meditation team Bamboo forest (  Thiền Trúc Lâm Yên Tử ) from foot to peak high 1068 meter - about 420 inch. Yen Tu location in Uong Bi city of Quang Ninh area. Stretch of road 6000 meter to top mountain - cost 250.000 VND  ( ~23 USD ) if use cable car or if walking - I tried warking and cost 5 hour :) .

   Why Yen Tu mountain is origin Vietnam Buddha ?
Vietnam Buddha to appear about 1000 year ago. When Tran Nhan Tong king to discard his influence, wealth and go practice, he create a new way of Vietnam Buddha : Meditation Yen Tu Bamboo forest and became to ancestor of Yen Tu Buddha.
Monks of Yen Tu has verymuch of contribute to Buddha: write books, build over 800 pagoda, many value statues.

   How to easy go to peak ?
The most easy is use slings: it fast, safely and clearly. But, somebody speak: " not walking equal to never go to Yen Tu ".

  What to prepare for walking?
You can buy water, some food, candy a sticks - it useful rugged ,smooth way and to save strength it then.

  What do you buy?
If you in peak Yen Tu, you can buy something. Please remember: no gifts over 250.000 VND ( about 13 USD ) and higher rest station in moutain way, food and water expensive 5000 VND.
   Tips: 
Near of rest station, have a pipe of water. You can take full bottle, wash your face... Finish, you can cost about 1 or 2K VND to thank. That cheapest !
