With English you allway use Vietnam or Vietnamese. However, in Vietnamese ( "Viet Nam" language ), "Vietnam" use by word "Việt Nam", "Vietnamese" use by "người Việt Nam"( people of Vietnam ) or "tiếng(or ngôn ngữ) Việt Nam"( language of Vietnam ).
